Still on my launch day 360 somehow. When mine dies, I don't think it'll RROD or get an E 74, it'll likely be a minor nuclear explosion that'll take out 2 or 3 blocks.

If people thought $600 was high for the PS3, imagine how much an Apple console would cost. Many people who aren't already Apple fans would probably be hesitant to purchase a console from them due to how frequently they release upgrades. There's not enough room for 4 competitors. Apple would need a hell of a lineup to even get me to consider it.

360 - Couldn't wait to play the sequel to Perfect Dark, but I really wanted Oblivion more than anything even though I had an extra 4 month wait since it didn't make launch. Plus I knew it would have plenty of other games I'd like.
PS3 - Had to have FFXIII, MGS4, and Blu ray. I also knew it would have a great variety of games, many of which I was hoping would be RPGs...

Something needs to be done with the laws over there and in Australia regarding media releases. Those of you who speak and read English shouldn't be punished with such ridiculously long waits, or in this case, never seeing some games at all. The UK and Australia should at least get games the same week that US/Canada do.

The iPhone has nothing to do with the PSP or the DS. No one walks into a store and says "Hmm, I wonder if I should get a PSP or an iPhone?" Two very different devices with very different purposes.
What's up with all the "Lulz, spin, spin, spin" accusations? Some people, including myself, simply believed the 360 would outsell the PS3 by a larger margin. Nothing more, nothing less. I was thinking it would be around 3:1 360:PS3 and that the Wii would break 3 million units due to earlier analyst reports.

By "After April 2010", they really mean March 6, 2018 like I've been telling people all along. Duke Nukem Forever will be out long before this game.
Yeah I used to watch that trailer almost every day. I was just so disappointed by the actual game though. Not really because of its graphics, it just didn't live up to what I thought a next gen Halo experience would be. I had forgotten all about that Halo 2 trailer that Pixelsword posted, but I used to watch that often as well and it still looks much better (gameplay-wise) than the Halo 2 I have.
I wonder why Halo 3's E3 2006 announcement trailer didn't cause any controversy http://www.youtube.com/watc... when it was said to be real time (it may have been, but they probably used all the CPU/GPU to generate what was shown and couldn't have any other in-game assets). The real game ended up looking nothing like what was shown. It looks more like a jagged Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in person.

How about a Golden Sun 3? The first two were masterpieces.
It needs all of those features as well as support for PS2 games via the PSN. That could be one way to begin the PS2's phase out.
